Welcome to Bay Area Neurointensivists (BAN), where our mission is to enhance acute stroke management, particularly in underserved communities, including rural areas. Our team of board-certified, fellowship-trained neurointensivists is dedicated to providing a practice-based approach to telestroke care, with a focus on improving functional health outcomes for patients.
We aim to reduce health disparities in regions where access to 24/7 neurological services can be limited. By partnering with hospitals, we help elevate your stroke care quality measures and support your commitment to providing excellent care.
Currently, BAN collaborates with a network of hospitals across California. At each facility, we provide on-call neurointensivist support, tailored to each facility's needs. Whether as a primary resource for telestroke care or to fill gaps during nights and weekends, our specialists ensure continuous, expert care. Through our growing network, we have seen significant improvements in patient and leadership satisfaction. Moreover, we recognize that telemedicine is a trusted and effective solution, improving the efficiency and accessibility of healthcare services.
